welcome for the compliment and fav on your work. I myself, upload my own work,
if not for the thumbnail problem on Mini Tokyo at the moment, you might have
been able to view them. But t's not thier fault, in which they are attempting to
fix the minor problem. As far as the layout on my user page, That was done on
Photo Shop and cut into 7 slices and uploaded as so onto Mini Tokyo, this option
for all users is in the "Customizing UserPage: Layout" link on the
upper left. But your work is very nice, and I hope to see more in the future.

-I must say that I was atracted to this pic because of the girls *drool*. I like
it, but I must say, you should spend a bit more time extracting the image, there
is a lot of white around the girls from they're original picture. Still, I liked
it enough to fav, that's the only comment I have, thanks for sharing!
Y`know, somehow, it dont surprise me that you liked it because of that...I
suspect EVERYone who fav`d it probably got attracted to that...the scan caught
MY eye because of that, after all ;0
Now..as far as extracting the image..Im not quite certain, but I think the white
glow may be more an artifact from one of my layers(I had 40 on here all told,
mostly to get the background and the blending just how I wanted), so Ill go back
and look. Thx for noticing, after 7 some-odd hrs on something, at night, one
tends to just gloss over little things I think.

for oekaki ppl usually use an online java program that are on some sites to make
pictures they don't spend a lot of time on.. although I did mine on paint cuz I
closed the oekaki window twice ;;

About the Sakura pic:
The pic originally didn't have a hand with a knife... I didn't plan that in, but
the hand was supposed to face away... it was just another sketch, but after it
was colored and everything I noticed that it couldn't stay without a hand... so
I drew one and attached it, which was a lot of work. But afterwards I noticed
that the hand was facing in a very unnatural angle, but it was already made fast
tightly, and I had to change the angle and readapt the coloring completely
manually... this sure made this pic time-consuming... but apart from the
leg-problem, I'm still happy with it.
Yes she's definately popular, perhaps because she's not that Japanese in her
behavior, but rather like a real girl...
Dunno if I should recommend the Anime (called Naruto).. it's very very long and
a often a little childish... I got addicted by the unique drawing style at
first, and then by the action, and now by the story... but the down-points of
the series never ended: repititions, very elongated parts, childish
side-stories. It's said to be like DragonBall (which I hate), so maybe this
helps you to decide.
For the sake of it, I uploaded my Naruto screencap-collection (85% Sakura): Link
But since you haven't heard of this anime, you might not have heard of many
others, and there definately are more deserving ones out there. Do you also read
Mangas?

Sadly, all my life i've been unhelpfully-critiqued, so i never actually started
drawing seriously untill very recently. I was traumatized, afraid to even
doodle. But it's been awhile since then, and i decided to give drawing a whirl
again, and everyone seems to be a lot more supportive this time around.
Why grey? well, for one it means i don't have to agonize over color decisions.
picking a skin tone is a pain the rear! also, i just have a laptop, and the
monitor is very light. It's so frustrating to get a drawing just how i like it
only to find that, from another computer, it looks way off. GAH!
As for the dude with the stylish pants, my scanner was acting funny (or rather,
unfortunately, it was acting normally) and i had to make it dark to be able to
see anything. And the face? actually, i just thought it would look cool, but
no offense; drawing a mask to cover something i didn't feel like drawing is
definately something i would do! ^_^
BTW, nice goatee. Maybe there should be a goatee group in the forums, fur all
us artists with goatees... haha j/k
